In 1970 Michael Williams started GEM cleaners in Storrington as a dry cleaning business, in 2004 Michael passed away and the business transferred to his widow Sally. In 2020 Sally decided to retire and the business was handed on to her son, James.

James decided operating as a Ltd company was the way he wanted to continue, hence GEM became Mill Parade Cleaners Ltd. Still operating from the same unit in Mill Lane and providing the friendly, helpful service built up over the last 50+ years.

A service wash is where you hand your laundry over to our launderette and we return it to you in clean, dry and folded condition.
